We look forward to joining you for a fun day!

The Oakley Museum has arranged the Saturday, June 18th tour of some of the town’s historical homes. The homes were built at the turn of the 19th century.  The popular Oakley Home Tour consists of six homes.  Two of the homes are joining the tour this year and have recently been renovated.

The proceeds will benefit the Museum and their current projects.

The Oakley Cemetery Tour will also be Saturday, June 18th.   Eight people will take on roles of eight historic people who helped make Oakley and the valley what it is today.

The Historical Oakley Cemetery Tour is a celebration of Oakley’s Unique History presented by Oakley Valley Arts Council.History reminds us what work was done in behalf of future generations!  History reminds us of the successes that were realized.  History reminds us the mistakes that were made and to not make the same mistakes.  It is an amazing journey to learn what brought people to this valley.  Lives of those that were long lived and those that were cut short will be featured.

Proceeds from the cemetery tour will benefit Howells Opera House ceiling/truss restoration/preservation project.  The theatre remains closed until this expensive project is completed.

OVAC is doing productions this summer at Oakley Elementary School and the Oakley Park this summer.
